ICM - 1/48 North-American/Rockwell OV-10A Bronco US Navy. OV-10A Bronco aircraft proved themselves well during the Vietnam War. They were used as light attack aircraft for direct support of troops and as target aircraft. They were distinguished by good maneuverability, good survivability and a rather large combat load. It should also be noted the short time in which they managed to appear above the set goals. The OV-10A Bronco was part of the United States Air Force and Navy units. After the end of the war, the aircraft continued to be used by the Navy for various test and trial missions. So, for example, they were operated by a unit of the Naval Test Center in Pax River. Also, for a certain time, these aircraft were part of the training squadron of anti-submarine aircraft VS-41, which operated from North Island Air Force Base in Coronado**. Some OV-10A Bronco aircraft from this squadron were distinguished by the unusual dark coloring of the fuselage.
